Property tax relief could be 10 months away. Senate Finance and
Taxation Committee Chairman Mike Haridopolos said yesterday
that lawmakers could put a property tax relief measure before voters
as early as this fall.

Thursday was a busy day in the insurance reform arena as Gov. Charlie

MORTGAGE RATES
Rates on 30-year mortgages rose this week to 6.21 percent, the
highest level since mid-November, after a better-than-expected
employment report renewed inflation worries in financial markets.
